Product Manager

About the role:

We are seeking a Product Manager, Visium to lead development and commercial efforts in the Visium product family. This position will report to the Associate Director, Visium Product Management, and will be responsible for upstream activities, including requirements definition and core team leadership, and day-to-day management of the business, including forecasting, sales enablement, inventory management, and business analytics. This role will interface with multiple stakeholders across the company, including sales, product marketing, support, operations, and R&D, and will have a high degree of visibility to senior management.

What you will be doing:

Drives strategy for the Visium proteogenomics portfolio
Owns demand planning for new releases in the Visium product line, including the proteogenomics portfolio and the CytAssist
Works closely with Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, and Regional Marketing to develop and implement strategies and tactics to drive growth – sales enablement tools, marketing collateral, collaborations
Leads the prioritization of feature requests and improvements
Interfaces frequently with customers and sales to understand use cases and market gaps
Works closely with Support to monitor the customer experience
Builds analytical models to inform forecasting and identify unmet customer needs
Assesses technology and competitive landscape for the spatial platform
Reports to senior executives on business performance and needs
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in a relevant scientific field
3 years of life science industry experience
Extensive domain knowledge and expertise in life sciences, biotech, and/or pharma
Strong track record of financial modeling and business case development
Must be willing to travel both domestically and globally up to 25%
Preferred Skills/Qualifications

MS/PhD highly preferred and/or MBA
Must be able to build credibility and relationships across all functions and levels at the organization and with customers
Must be collaborative and a team player who knows how to leverage other functions of the organization
Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills
High level of organization, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
Analytical and metrics-driven
Self-starter willing to work in a fast-paced environment
