What’s the job all about?

Design and conduct experiments to support the development and launch of new NGS-based assays
Act as a key member in the development and launch of new assays and the generation of epigenomics data to support customer projects
Lead technicians in the organization and execution of all Nova-seq NGS runs performed
Perform benchwork for NGS-based epigenomics assays within the Epigenetic Services group
Support initiatives for process improvement within the Epigenetic Services group
Maintain an uninterrupted supply of reagents and consumables for ongoing collaborative efforts
Effectively communicate results to colleagues and customers
Support Lab operations and maintain accurate and complete laboratory records, as needed
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments, as well as independently, while understanding the necessity for communicating and collaborating work efforts with other team members
May be required to work overtime occasionally, as well as other duties that may be assigned

What you can offer?


D. required with 2+ years’ professional experience in molecular biology, biotechnology
Experience generating single cell data on the 10X Genomics platform and ability to understand and interpret data
Experience running Illumina sequencers with a thorough understanding of the molecular aspects of NGS
Experience in NGS workflows, library preparation, and the ability to implement new technologies
Hands-on experience with epigenomics assays such as chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP-seq), DNA methylation assays, or ATAC-seq is a plus.
Demonstrated expertise in molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction & purification, NGS library preparation & QC, PCR, qPCR
Strong familiarity with NGS data analysis and data interpretation is a plus

Strong organizational skills and comfort with systems e.g., LIMS, ELN, O365 tools
Commitment to quality by rigorous and constant evaluation of own work
Adaptability; able to function effectively in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
Ability to use technical skills and good time management to perform work efficiently and meet project timelines
Ability to write and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
Proficient with MS Office Suite, including MSTeams
Professional written and verbal communication
