Bonneville Labs is recruiting a Business and Real Estate Analyst to work with the CEO to explore and develop business and financial cases for expansion activities for the company. General Summary of Role:
This position will be responsible for research and then developing business cases and the underlying operational and financial models to drive the growth of Bonneville labs business locations and services. This position will have the opportunity to grow as the Bonneville Labs model expands to additional sites throughout the bay area in the coming years and to be involved in the implementation of the sites and services they underpin.
As a Business and Real Estate Analyst for Bonneville Labs, you will manage business operations across multiple product hardware teams, working closely with leadership to help them grow, scale and run the business effectively. You will manage strategic initiatives ranging from business operations, process improvement, objectives and key results, headcount growth, and business operations reviews, enabling our team to execute and innovate at speed..
Business Case evaluation of physical locations for BVL Sites – Research and integration of various data sources to test the suitability for future locations for BVL, to include Demographics, Geo-Spatial information, Company formation data, etc.
Site Financial Analysis – Evaluating the Financial attractiveness of future and current sites for Bonneville Labs.
Business Case Development for new services – work with the CEO to develop demand, pricing and implementation models for new business services.
Business Case Development for partnerships – work with CEO to evaluate the tactical and strategic value of partnership with other companies
Project and Partnership Financial Analysis – Evaluation of the financial impact and needs of new partnership and services.
Financial Model Maintenance
Presentation Creation for the services and locations listed above to go into pitch decks and/or product descriptions.
Developing Business Analytical Tools
Geospatial Information System – Work with outside contractors to develop GIS tools
Business Model Research and Development
Financial Model Development
BS/BA Business, Math, Statistics or related degree
2+ years of experience in working in Management Consulting and/or Real Estate Development, with experience in Strategy and/or Analytics
Strong Analytical skills w/ a strong working knowledge of analytical tools such as Excel, Tabloid, R.
Preference for individuals with experience working with Geospatial tools such as ArcGIS and Familiarity working with a financial planning tools
Solid understanding of real estate income and financial statements.
Preference for individual with experience working with Argus
Must have a strong sense of ownership for their role, that there is a better way to do things and impatience for broken traditional methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to execute on both small and large-scale projects
Able to work successfully with senior executives and partners
Strong attention to detail – OCD is a superpower.
Must be a problem solver who takes time to understand the underlying operations of systems vs just who to call to make problems go away. Getting into the details of how/why systems work is a key attribute.
