Part Time Controller

Position Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue Recognition.
Hands-on leadership to the accounting operations, close and financial reporting functions.
Evaluate the accounting, controls and financial reporting impact of operational decisions
Lead the design and implementation of an integrated accounting system solutions
Drive to continuously improve the accounting operations, controls and financial reporting processes
Establish, monitor and enforce a comprehensive set of internal controls, establish policies and procedures around accounting issues.
Manage and execute accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes and the preparation of internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Establish accounting standards and procedures as needed.
Prepare various monthly and annual corporate financial reports for clients including consolidated financial statements, income statements, balance sheet statements, cash-flow statements, etc.
Help oversee external audits of client accounting books as required by BOD or bank mandates and maintain due diligence ready records.
Develop strategies for future system implementations and enhancements/upgrades to existing systems.
Ensure proper process flow of Purchase Orders to received goods in order to maintain accurate reporting, including reconciling month-end inventory levels
Provide subject matter expertise on implementations of accounting policies.
Hands-on partner to the finance group for business planning, financial forecasting, budgets and management reporting activities
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.


Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required.
Five years of experience as a Senior Accountant or two years as a Controller.
Excellent technical knowledge of GAAP including revenue recognition and cost accounting,

Possess in-depth operational knowledge of the business to monitor, influence and impact financial performance.
Experience in accounting for consolidations and other business combinations.
Experience with international and multi-currency accounting.
Experience working with start-ups or smaller companies.
Comprehensive experience on supporting external and internal audits, due diligence, as well as income tax return matters.
