POSITION SUMMARY
The Hansen lab is inviting highly qualified, inquisitive scientists to apply for positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher. The focus of our research is to understand how the basic cellular recycling process called autophagy is regulated during aging, using the nematode C. elegans and mammalian cell culture systems, and a combination of biochemical, imaging, and genetic approaches. Successful applicants for this career-development position will be involved in defining their own research direction.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a biological science or related field and a strong publication record. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • The starting salary for a new postdoc at the Buck is $68,000 in 2023, with a range up to $82,000 commensurate with postdoc level & experience.
