The successful candidate will be responsible to provide deep market knowledge in the area of Spatial Technologies in pharma markets, in addition to driving key opinion leader relationships and collaborations.
The role can be based in the company’s headquarters of Monheim, Germany or the San Jose, CA office but will need to effectively work globally. This role reports to the Commercial Marketing Leader.
Identify and liaise with key opinion leaders and technology advisors to build long-term relationships.
Drive high-level engagement with KOLs to ensure mindshare of important customers in the market.
Develop a strategic approach to developing market for Spatial Technologies in pharma market.
Create and present theoretical case studies applicable to the Spatial Technologies in pharma market.
Define market sizing, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, product gaps, and revenue projections, for innovative new products and applications.
Assess market needs, gaps, opportunities, trends, competitive and technology landscape for the Spatial Technologies in pharma market.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and sales to collect and relay the voice of customers.
Work in partnership with marketing to ensure the scientific accuracy of marketing materials and messaging.
Self-starter comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, ever-evolving commercial environment
Ability to present scientific material to thought leaders
Strong market knowledge in spatial biology applied to the pharma market.
Passionate about the customer experience
Comfortable presenting publicly
Strong application and use case knowledge in genomics, ISH, cellular analysis or microscope applications
Experience working and travelling in global markets
Education and Experience:
Proven track record of KOL development
Graduate degree in biology, genetics, genomics or related scientific fields
