The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing deep market knowledge in specific application areas, beginning with pharma and cell atlasing, in addition, to driving relationships with key opinion leaders and developing collaborations.
The role can be based in the company’s headquarters of Monheim, Germany or the San Jose, CA office but will need to effectively work globally. This role reports to the Commercial Marketing Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and liaise with key opinion leaders and technology advisors to build long-term relationships.
Drive high-level engagement with KOLs to ensure mindshare of important customers in the market.
Develop a strategic approach to developing the pharma and cell atlasing markets.
Create and present theoretical case studies applicable to the pharma and cell atlasing markets.
Define market sizing, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, product gaps, and revenue projections, for innovative new products and applications.
Assess market needs, gaps, opportunities, trends, competitive and technology landscape for the pharma and cell atlasing markets.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and sales to collect and relay the voice of customers.
Work in partnership with marketing to ensure the scientific accuracy of marketing materials and messaging.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of KOL development
Self-starter comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, ever-evolving commercial environment
Ability to present scientific material to thought leaders
Strong market knowledge in spatial biology, cell atlasing, and pharma markets.
Passionate about the customer experience
Graduate degree in biology, genetics, genomics, or related scientific fields
Strong application and use case knowledge in genomics, ISH, cellular analysis, or microscope applications
Experience working in global markets
