The Role
This is a great opportunity to gain hands on marketing experience and grow within the team. The role will be responsible to help develop, drive and implement the tactical marketing calendar resulting in quality leads and contacts. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the commercial marketing efforts.
The role is based in our San Jose, CA office but will need to effectively work globally. This role reports to the Commercial Marketing Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to marketing department
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns
Perform market research
Create marketing performance reports
Maintain marketing calendar
Assist with social media and website content
Provide support with tradeshows and events
Organize and manage collateral
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Understands basic marketing concepts
Ability to identify emerging trends
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
Works well in a collaborative team
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in life science
1-3 years of experience either at the bench, or in sales, or marketing
