Senior Research Associate, Analytical Development

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented analytical scientist to be a key member of the platform development team to enable discovery research and development efforts. The individual will be actively Involved in the development, optimization and trouble-shooting the analytical methodologies required for the characterization of nanoparticulated-based delivery system and the nucleic acid-based cargo. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with analytical methods used in the characterization and quantification of the various components employed in nanoparticle delivery and nucleic acid based cargo. The ideal candidate is expected to be a strong collaborator with a strong passion to work in cutting edge technology, enjoys scientific discovery and can communicate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and interdisciplinary environment



·        Support the development of the analytical strategies to characterize nanoformulations of nucleic acid based drug product

·        Characterize product profiles for process optimization and batch-to-batch reproducibility

·        Support equipment maintenance and trouble shooting

·        Maintain organized storage and inventory of supplies and materials

·        Collaborate with a team of scientists to creatively solve problems and drive innovation

·        Maintain high standards for scientific integrity and accountability

·        Communicate across departments and support project teams



o   BS/MS with 4 years of industry experience

·        Prior hands-on experience with the following:

o   Analytical techniques, including HPLC, LCMS and UV-Vis spectroscopy and fluorescent plate assays

·        Able to conduct self-directed research and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial setting with a diverse team of coworkers

·        Exceptional problem-solving skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, creativity, enthusiasm, reliability, and attention to detail

·        Scientifically curious, paired with a strong work ethic and grit
